my plans for today

It's going to be a very relaxed day today. Outside of doing laundry and watching some DVDs, I don't have too much planned.
My diet is going very well. I've lost 1 1/4 pounds since April 12th. I intend to get back in shape so I can make a good impression on any German women I might meet.
I have orientation for a new job tomorrow. I'll be quite busy once I start my new assignment. But not so busy that I couldn't make time for my Germanic Queen. Where is she, I ask?

I thought this would be a really neat place to blog and meet women. But the activity seems pretty diminished. I wonder why?
Here in NJ it's near 100 degrees today. Me and my cats are staying in the AC and just keeping still.
Just for kicks I'm going to include a photo of one of my cats- her name is Lady Lay. Hope you like the pic.
Are their any pet owners here? What's your preference, dogs or cats? Other?

hasty dating

I've been waiting 4 years to have a date.
Why be hasty?
What does haste produce that is valuable, substantive?
I once loved a Germanic witch named Kat.
Why I loved her is a little difficult to describe. I would never have imagined loving someone who listened to Ozzy Osbourne, as she did.
But I thought she was really neat!
I suppose one of the things we had in common was our love of cats..Hmm, while fate did not forge a union for Kat and I, maybe there's another Germanic Queen out there whose heart I can win? Good God, I would adore her, just as I adored Kat so many years ago.
But hasty dating is not something I subscribe to. I think there's something to the methodical approach to love. If I've waited 4 years for a date, why can't I wait a little more?
How about you? Have you had hasty dates? Did they bring you anything other than heartache or frustration?
